Hey! My name is Blake!
It’s so nice to meet you!

By Christina KIm

I was 20 years old when, after years of begging, my father gave me a film camera. I packed up that little camera and took it on a two month trip to Nepal, which is where I decided that I would make photography not only a hobby, but my career.

It has been 23 years since that trip to Nepal. And since then I have since photographed well over 200 weddings and even more portrait sessions. I am deeply inspired by human emotion and strive to capture the spirit of my clients. I don’t strive to create merely pretty photos, but meaningful photos. Ones that capture how your life FEELS. So that you can look back at your images and be launched back to that time.

Since getting my dogs, pet portraiture has become a large passion of mine. My dogs are now 10 and 11 and I know that my time is limited with them, so documenting our lives has become paramount to me. I would love to help you do that too.

I am deeply committed to many social justice issues including mental health & suicide prevention, harm reduction, 2SLGBTQIA+ rights, and many more. I love being able to use my photography skills for a good cause.

When I am not photographing I am a harm reduction worker, biking with my dogs, hanging out with my wonderful partner, thrifting, dancing at Folk Fest, or eating burgers at Next Act.

I would love to document the special moments in your life! Please reach out and ask any questions you may have!
